The heart of our work has always been about people — their lives, relationships, wellbeing and the places they live. We care deeply about improving outcomes for individuals, families and communities, and about working in ways that are respectful, inclusive and rooted in real experience.
This social heart — purpose, empathy and a desire to make things better — continues to guide what we choose to work on and how we work with others.
Sense
Alongside this sits a commitment to rigour. To evidence, insight and realism. We believe good intentions need to be matched with clear thinking, strong partnerships and a focus on what genuinely works.
That means grounding ideas in research, understanding context, measuring impact, and being honest about what is sustainable — financially and practically — over the long term.
Over the past 15 years, we’ve had the privilege of working with local authorities, social enterprises, charities and community organisations, supporting behaviour change, innovation and evaluation across a wide range of social issues. What has mattered most is not just what we’ve done, but how — working collaboratively, learning as we go, and staying focused on outcomes that matter.
Some things have changed over the years. The values haven’t.
